Literature Text

I am
suficating
in the
stress
tears
that fill
the air
chocking
on my words
that seem to
squeak out
in piddled
little phrases
of nothingness

The outside
gives me
something to
breathe on
but it
makes me
realize that
maybe things
are more
messed up
than they
seem

The air changes
when you
are around
making me
on the verge
of death
and when I
scream for
help
your guard dog
chews me up
and spits out
my throat
so that I
have no
chance to
breathe
ever again
in this
world
making life
that much less
worth living

No release
can be found
can be legal
for the trap
that you have set
closes me in
with nowhere
to go
both sides
of the cage
are painful
and dangerous

So I lie
here in
the middle
hoping that
the outside
world
can still
hear me
notice me
even though
I am still
hidden
in this
almost
air tight
prison

Your similes are highly suitable and really help express your feelings. I am glad you are able to express them here even if it is hard to do so in other places :D

Your structure actually makes the poem very easy to read, it kind of slides off the eyes and straight into the brain.

My favourite lines,
"both sides
of the cage
are painful
and dangerous"
The word dangerous just makes it :D

Two minor issues, 'choking' and 'suffocation' need their spellings changed.

Otherwise excellent work! :)
